Packing Your Knives Safely
For the safety of our team and postal handlers, please pack your knives carefully. Even a dull blade can cause injury if improperly packed.
1. Wrap Each Knife Individually
-
If your knife has a sheath, place it in the sheath.
-
If not, wrap it securely in a tea towel, multiple layers of newspaper, or bubble wrap.
-
Ensure the tip is fully covered.
-
If sending multiple knives, wrap each separately before bundling together.
2. Use Adequate Padding
-
Place cushioning material (bubble wrap, packing paper, or similar) at the bottom of your box.
-
Lay the wrapped knives on top.
-
Add additional padding above and around the knives to prevent movement.
3. Include Your Documentation
-
Include a completed Service Form inside the box.
-
Keep a copy for your records.
- Please find the Sharpening and repair form here.
4. Seal and Send
-
Seal and tape your box securely.
-
Clearly write the Reply Paid details on the outside.
